Week 8 Lecture Thoughts

Ultimately every species within the world relies on habitat for survival. Dependence on them.  The city is a man made habitat that is full of consumption.  Current system is this way seen in the resultant commodity pressures ...food in future vision.  Focus on what needs to be done....where are we heading what is the entities response to this to be more sustainable.

What response is unique/focussed to the future vision, what makes it unique?  What makes it and how is it different from a 2012 contemporary architectural response? Establish the link!

Consider the needs of the future society in more detail and clarify detail. Scale and time considerations what will ensure it will be sustainable for a long period.

Say the building is a temporary refuge within the city for those who are in trouble due loss of land, building aims to introduce them to urban society and adapt. Some sort of re-education option???

Conceptual idea of using reusable modules that could be implemented again and again on different sites. Raises issues of energy consumption through the deconstruction, construction and transportation stages.
